NOVELTY BRIDGE SUNSET

The Novelty Bridge is the bridge that allows NE 124th St to cross the Snoqualmie Valley.  The bridge is an icon of the Snoqualmie Valley and associated with the town of Duvall.  The bridge gets is it name, “Novelty” from the town that used to exist where NE 124th St and State Route 203 meet, and is located just west of Novelty Hill (Yes, Novelty Hill on on the east side of the valley).   The image was captured on April, 14, 2023 at 7:53pm with a DJI Air 2s drone at 299′ above the ground.  The view is looking west at Union Hill as the sun had just set.  The image captures just how much the Snoqualmie River meanders through out the valley to eventually meetup with the Skykomish River in Monroe, WA, to form the Snohomish River.  The town of Duvall, WA, can be seen on the right side of the image in the background. The image is composed of 15 HDR frames, where each frame is made up of 5 exposures for a total of 75 images.  Resolution of the original image is 10,474 x 3,966.
