SNOQUALMIE VALLEY TRAIL IN FALL

In the Snoqualmie Valley in Washington, there is a trail that goes from the town I live in, Duvall, all the way down to the town of Fall City.  The interesting thing about this trail, is that it is a “rail trail” meaning that before it was a trail that people use for recreation, it was a railroad.  This trail used to be part of the “Milwaukee Road” railroad.  The trail starts in Duvall and goes south roughly following the east side of the Snoqualmie Valley and goes through the town of Carnation to Fall City.  It is roughly 30 miles long.  It you get some great views of the Snoqualmie River and adjacent farm lands as you travel the trail.  The trail is popular for bicyclists, joggers, dog walkers, and birders.  This image was taken in the fall of 2021, and shows the great golden color of the trees as they arch over the trail.  Resolution of the source image is 4439 x 6658.
